It's Party Time at the Science Center!
Our children's birthday parties are
science and nature oriented, creative and down-to-earth fun! Parties
can include outdoor hikes, games and activities,
science experiments, live animals,
the EcoZone, and the
greenhouse. All party themes are held year round.
A great party for girls and boys ages 4 and up.
Parents are heard to say, "The kids had so much fun they didn't even notice
they were learning something."

Peter Rabbit:
Join Peter on a visit to Mr. McGregor's garden. Meet our bunny and see if
we can find rabbits outside. |
Woodland:
Explore as you look, touch, and listen for
plants & animals that make
their homes in the forest. |
Young Explorers:
Grab your map, look for clues
and find your way along our trails.

Dinosaurs:
For the kidosaurus who loves those "giant lizards". Go back in time to the world
of dinosaurs. How are they like the animals of today? |
Reptiles & Amphibians:
Crawl, slither or hop over to meet our scaly and
slimy friends. |
Magic of
Science:
Is it magic or
is it science? Test your powers of perception and try out some tricks! |

Amazing Animal
Adaptations:
Discover the amazing things animals do or have that help
them "fit" into their habitats and make them unique. |
Harry
Potter:
Meet some of the animals popular at
Hogwarts and try some magic even Muggles can do. |

Outrageous Owls:
Whooo is wishing you a happy birthday? Meet a live Barred
Owl and learn more about these creatures of the night. |
Spy Quest
Learn how to write and send secret messages, and then
test your skills with a special Quest.

some reading. |
Each party is 2 hours long. For the first hour,
a naturalist provides the
fun and adventure by leading a program on
the theme of your choosing. Then you have the use of the Birthday
Party room to host the rest of the festivities. You provide the paper goods, cake, ice cream
and/or other refreshments, but we provide the goodie
bags!
Party Times:
Fridays:
4:30pm
Saturdays:
10:30am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm
Party Prices:
 For the one hour program and
one hour in the party room.
Includes goodie bags.
Members: $12 per child, $120 minimum
Non-members: $14 per child, $140 minimum
13 child maximum

Looking for a great birthday gift or additional items for the
goodie bags? The Science Center's nature store has toys, t-shirts, cards,
and other gift options for all ages. The
Sponsor-a-Critter program or
sponsoring an exhibit in the EcoZone are other great ways to celebrate a special day.

ecological: avoid Styrofoam,
choose Mylar instead of latex balloons, and
consider reusable cups instead of juice boxes. Feel free to contact us
