SSNSC 2008 Annual Meeting

Hanover resident and local historian, James Pierotti will be the featured
speaker at the Annual Meeting. Pierotti has written Images of America books on
both Hingham and Norwell and his lecture will feature “Reminiscences of Norwell
and Hingham”.
His presentation will include interesting and funny tales gathered while writing
these books. Both books are full of historic old photographs of each town and
its residents. Need a gift for someone special, autographed copies of the books
make perfect gifts. Pierotti will be available to sign copies of the books.
Former Norwell resident, Jeff Corwin wrote the foreword for the Norwell book and
praised Pierotti’s superb job of illuminating Norwell’s past and unraveling its
secrets.
Pierotti will also present a contribution for the EcoZone at the Science Center.
The public and SSNSC members are cordially invited to attend the program. Join
us for fresh fruit shortcake at 7pm, followed by Pierotti’s presentation at 7:30
